Embattled NRL coach survives axing

The seat continues to heat up as the losses mount, but the Brisbane Broncos have stuck fat with coach Anthony Seibold.

Brisbane Broncos coach Anthony Seibold is safe in his role at the helm of the struggling NRL club.

After their sixth-straight loss on Saturday night against the New Zealand Warriors, many believed time may have run out for Seibold.

Broncos boss Paul White nipped those fears in the bud during a press conference on Sunday morning as he put his support behind Seibold.

“Today is about reaffirming my support for the coach,” White told media on Sunday morning.
