A teacher has been arrested in Sydney's west following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a high school student.
Earlier this week, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad received reports a 14-year-old male student had been sexually assaulted by a female teacher while at a school, NSW Police said in a statement.
An investigation was commenced and a 23-year-old Greenacre woman was arrested on Friday morning.
Police executed a search warrant at the home, where officers seized a vehicle and electronic devices.
The woman has been taken to Bankstown Police Station where police expect charges will be laid.
