The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin tested positive for coronavirus, the sporting body confirmed through a press release.
"H'ble BFF President Kazi Md Salahuddin has received confirmation yesterday Wednesday that he has tested positive for coronavirus. The BFF President, who has reported mild symptoms, has immediately placed himself in self-isolation and will remain in quarantine at least for next few days.
BFF sincerely wishes President Salahuddin a speedy recovery," read the press release.
Salahuddin was elected as the president of Bangladesh Football Federation for a fourth consecutive term following a landslide victory at the BFF Elective Congress last October.
