The 114-kilometre road march will end in a public gathering at the Latifabad bypass area in Kishoreganj in the afternoon. On way to Kishoreganj, public rallies will also be held at Churkhai, China Mour and Ishwarganj of Mymensingh.

Hundreds of BNP leaders and activists from Jamalpur, Sherpur, Netrakona and Kishoreganj joined the road march.

The BNP leaders said the road march is playing a vital role in making BNP's movement a public movement in cities and rural areas.

They alleged that members of law enforcement, directed by this "undemocratic government", were conducting drives to arrest leaders and activists of BNP and its associated organisations and implicating them in "false and fabricated cases".

The BNP leader urged police and administration to play a neutral role so that they could hold a peaceful road march.
