Freedom fighter Habibur Rahman Sanni passes away

Habibur Rahman Sanni, a freedom fighter and an avid collector of antiques and vintage cars, died of cancer in a hospital in Dhaka early today (September 26, 2022).

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at Baitul Mubarak Jame Mosque in Banglamotor area after Zuhr prayers. His second namaz-e-janaza will take place at Gulshan Society Jame Mosque after Asr prayers.

Born on July 17, 1951 to Ayesha Aziz and Lutfur Rahman, Sanni is survived by his wife Donira Rahman and children Saadi Rahman and Sabah Rahman; daughter-in-law Tasmia Chowdhury, son-in-law Ahsan Z Khan, grandchildren ZZ and Izzy, and siblings Najma Rizvi, Nurul Islam (Shishu), Mohammed Anis, Maniza Johnson, Kaiser Aziz, Iqbal Aziz and Mahmud Rahman (Bonny).
