Maradona to remain in hearts of football fans forever: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of football legend Diego Maradona.

In a condolence message, she said the Argentine footballer, one of the greatest players in football history, would remain alive in hearts of football fans across the world forever.

His sporting prowess will act as an inspiration to future football players for ages, the PM said.

Hasina wished eternal peace for the departed soul of the great footballer and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Maradona, 60, passed away at his Buenos Aires home in Argentina on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack.
