A Canadian man accused of smuggling 149.7 pounds of marijuana into the country has once again failed to appear for his trial.

Marvyn Moussa, of Toronto, Canada, was arrested at Lynden Pindling International Airport on December 28, 2022 after police and customs officers allegedly found the contraband in his luggage.

Moussa was initially denied bail at his arraignment on charges of drug importation, drug possession with intent to supply and conspiring to commit those offenses.

However, he was granted $50,000 cash bail by Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson on January 20, 2023.

Moussa failed to appear for his first trial date of February 6 and he also was a no-show for yesterday’s date.
