Still No Figures on the Cost of BIMFF 2.0

It’s been six weeks since the second annual Belize International Music and Food Festival was held at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex in Belize City. It’s an event that is organized by the Belize Tourism Board during a time where there is a slowdown in tourist arrivals to the Jewel. A request was made by the Leader of the Opposition back in earlier August for proper accounting of the use of public funds to cover the cost of the festival. Those figures have still not been publicly announced. Today, when News Five caught up with C.E.O. in the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations Nicole Solano, she said the report was still not ready.
