Simon-Guillaume Bourget, 41, died of his injuries during the weekend. A man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
The Sûreté du Québec announced Monday that a third person has died in the wake of an incident last Monday that saw a pickup truck plow into a crowd of people in the town of Amqui, in the province’s Bas-St-Laurent region.
Police identified the deceased as Simon-Guillaume Bourget, 41, who died of his injuries in hospital over the weekend.

Gérald Charest, 65, and Jean Lafrenière, 73, also died in the incident.
Steeve Gagnon was charged last Tuesday with two counts of dangerous driving causing death. Prosecutors have said other charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
Gagnon is alleged to have deliberately driven his vehicle into a group of 11 people, two of them young children, on St-Benoît Blvd. W.
