Minnesota Lynx scored a career-high 32 points as Minnesota Lynx defeated Las Vegas Aces at home 102-71 on Sunday in Minneapolis, leading wire-to-wire.

This was the most points scored by Lynx (7-15) this season and did so against Ace (15-6), who holds the record for the Western Conference.

In the seventh season of Proball, Powers shot 10/17 from the floor, 3/7 from the 3 point range, and 9/12 from the charity stripe. She also made six rebounds and four assists in less than 28 minutes of play.

Powers scored 27 points against the New York Liberty on June 5th of this season, tying her previous career high. She averages 13.4 points per game this season.

Moria Jefferson and Rachel Banham have each added 13 points to Minnesota.

Kelsey Plum led the ace with 12 points and 5 assists. Jakelin Young and A'ja Wilson each scored 10 points.

This is the fourth time Ace and Lynx have squared this year, but it was the first victory in the Minnesota season series.

Lynx jumped into a 13-0 lead to start the game, leading 33-15 by the end of the first quarter. Power was devoted to 14 points in her career-the best total in the opening period.

Las Vegas used a 20-11 run to reduce its deficit to 9 points in the second quarter, but did not threaten to lead.

Minnesota's shootings were sharp on Sunday, with 50% of the shootings coming from the floor and 41.4% from the depths. Meanwhile, Las Vegas shot 36.8 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from behind the arc.

Lynx, led by Sylvia Fowles' 11 rebounds, also dominated the board 53-25. Jessica Shepard also helped in the division, getting out of the bench with eight rebounds and nine points and four assists.

Minnesota led 34 points.

Ace suffered two serious fouls in the first half.
