Pierre Guthrie will remain in AlphaTauri for the 2023 season, announced by the F1 team on Friday.
The 26-year-old French driver returned to Red Bull's junior team in 2018 after a disappointment with Red Bull and a short stint. Guthrie won the 2020 Italian Grand Prix and is currently in 11th place as a driver this year. 16 points ranking.
The hope of returning to the top team in the near future ended with Sergio Perez signing an extension to 2025. However, AlphaTauri prevented Guthrie from entering the open driver market.
