Police issued an arrest warrant for a suspect who wanted a first-class murder following a murder in Newmarket, Ontario.
York local police were called home around 1:30 am on July 29 to report an injured, and 22-year-old Nicole Mercer suffered a life-threatening injury. It states that it has found.
Mercer was treated by a first responder and then taken to a hospital where he died.
Autopsy confirmed that his cause of death was a gunshot wound.
Police say an arrest warrant has been issued to a 23-year-old Newmarket man who is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators encourage him to look for a lawyer and leave him alone, asking anyone with information to contact the police.
