Slovyansk — On Tuesday, police said Russian troops struck a market in the city of Slovyansk in eastern Ukraine, killing women and injuring at least three people.
A Reuters reporter at the scene saw yellow smoke swirling from an auto supply store, and when firefighters tried to extinguish the flame, the flame swallowed a line of stalls in the market.
It was not immediately clear which munitions were used in the attack on a city in the Donetsk region.
Police said it was not clear how many people were in the market at the time of the attack, but the market was in the process of closing that day and some stores were still open. ..
