Guests told to shelter in their rooms
At least one person has been seriously injured in a shooting Friday afternoon in the parking lot of the popular Laurentians resort Estérel. Police are investigating after the incident, which occurred at 12:45 p.m.
Media reports have stated three people were injured in a shootout, and that visitors at the resort, located in the town of Estérel, were told to remain in their rooms as police searched for an active shooter. The assailant is believed to have fled by car.
