BC River Forecast Center has issued high-flow recommendations for inland and southeastern parts of the state

Environment Canada has the following severe thunderstorm warnings: Issued. Strong winds, heavy hail, and heavy rains occur in parts of southern British Columbia.
According to the Meteorological Agency, warnings include Boundary, Fraser Canyon, Liluette, Nicola to the north, and Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Shuswap, and South Thompson to the Okanagan Valley.
The BC River Forecast Center has issued high-flow recommendations to the south-inland and south-eastern parts of the state, including the Similkameen River and Mission Creek in Okanagan, the border, and Kutney and its tributaries in the east and west.
On Sundays and Mondays, heavy and thunderstorms can occur in the South Interiors and Coutney, with rivers expected to rise in the areas with the heaviest torrential rains. According to the
center, high flows can occur in small and medium-sized watersheds throughout the region on Mondays and Tuesdays due to uncertainties in the exact location and intensity of rainfall.
High river flow recommendations mean that river levels are rising or expected to rise rapidly, but no major floods are expected.
