JOHANNESBURG (AP) — Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to mark the country's Women's Day holiday Afterwards, we will continue our tri-country tour of Africa with a flight to Congo.

Brinken met with Ramaphosa on Tuesday morning and had a brief meeting with South Africa's Minister of International Relations, Naledi Pandor.

The cordial talks did not mask differences between the United States and South Africa over Russia's war in Ukraine. South Africa remained neutral on the war and refused to criticize Russia for its aggression against Ukraine or its actions in the conflict.
