TORONTO — Toronto Blue Jays chose right-handed Sean Anderson on the major league roster and right-handed Jeremy Beasley as Triple A Buffalo on Monday.
Anderson was 2-1 with an average of 3.91 runs in 14 Bisons appearances (including 6 starts) this season.
He actively participated in a Toronto match against Boston Red Socks at the Rogers Center on Monday night.
Beasley posted 6.30 ERA and did not record a decision in six appearances at Blue Jays this year.
Also on Monday, Blue Jays moved left-handed Hyunjin Ryu to the 60-day injured list. He will miss the rest of the season due to surgery on his left elbow.
