The City of Brandon, Manufacturing Statehas removed a boiling water advisory introduced after a "major" water main break occurred on Monday, the city said. announced Wednesday.
The water system has met all conditions for the recommendation to be removed and the bacteriological test results meet regulatory standards, health officials said. .
In the affected area, two sets of bacteriological tests, including at least one water sample, were submitted 24 hours apart and the results meet regulatory standards.

The City will also reopen the Valleyview and Westridge spray parks, which were closed under the advisory.
