Canada Day Saskatoon hosted the 2022 Celebration with face painting, activities and concerts.

Wanuskewin's Bannockman shared indigenous food and offered a free bannock with strawberry jam on top.

"There were many first opportunities for people to try it. If they like it, they are Bannockwin. You can go out and eat all kinds of bannock. We maple smoke bannock and fly different kinds of jam, "says chef Doug Hindford.
