Car hits man on scooter in Lachine

A 55-year-old man was severely injured in a collision in Lachine on Monday.

Around 7 p.m., the driver of a car turned from Provost Street to 25th Avenue, where it collided with a man riding an electric scooter, police said. The man was injured in the upper body and brought to a hospital. Police were still waiting for news from authorities on his state.

The driver was a 40-year-old woman, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the collision.
