Car set on fire in St-Léonard

A suspect broke one of the car's windows and tossed an incendiary device inside.

The Montreal police arson squad is investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a vehicle in the St-Léonard borough early Sunday.

A witness called 911 about 4:30 a.m. to report that a car was engulfed in flames on Bourdaloue St. Police believe someone broke one of the car’s windows and tossed an incendiary device inside.

There were no injuries and police have no motive for the act.
