A child was taken to hospital in Toronto after being hit by a car, according to police.
In a tweet Thursday,Toronto Police
Police said a pedestrian was hit in a parking lot.
"Pedestrians are reported to be toddlers or toddlers," police wrote in a tweet.

Police said the vehicle remained at the scene.
