Regina — Saskatchewan The children at the center of the Amber Alert have been found safe.
According to the Turner County Sheriff's Office in South Dakota, the children and suspect have been found and the Amber Alert has been lifted.
The Saskatchewan RCMP previously stated that the children were believed to be with a convicted sex offender, and the children were believed to have traveled to South Dakota, prompting Amber to Expanded the alert to the United States.
RCMP Chief Supt. Tyler Bates said police were concerned about the health of the children, believed to be with their mother and 50-year-old Benjamin Martin Moore. He said he had a history of sex crimes against children and had been convicted of sexually assaulting a minor.
He was being investigated by social services when he left with his children and their mother.
