Close to 50,000 Hydro-Québec clients without power amid high winds

Some 46,824 Quebecers had no power as of 7:01 p.m. Wednesday, Hydro-Québec said on its website, including 8,204 customers in Montreal.

Montérégie was the hardest-hit region, with more than 19,000 customers in the dark. Another 8,204 customers in Montreal suffered the same fate. There were 15 outages in Montreal, Hydro-Québec said.
