Of those patients, the number in intensive care remained stable at 33.
The province reported 436 more COVID-19 cases had been confirmed through PCR testing at its clinics and there were 23 self-reported positives from rapid tests. However, because PCR testing is not accessible to most Quebecers and self-reports are not verified, the case numbers are not representative of the situation in the province.
