This holiday weekend was slaughtered on the road.
Peel regional police officers were investigating two fatal car accidents (one in Brampton and one in Mississauga) within two hours.
In the Brampton crash, one died and the other was detained for a disability-related crime after two cars collided around 12:30 am on Sunday. Creditview Rd. And Dr. Wanless to find the passengers was thrown out of one of his cars at the time of the collision. Passengers sent off were sentenced to death in the hospital.
The driver of the car, a 29-year-old man, has been detained, Const said. Heather Cannon.
The other car had three people, including a nine-month-old baby, all of whom were taken to the hospital.
"My mother was taken to a local hospital and was in crisis," Cannon said.
"She is stable now."
Cannon added that both the father and the baby in the car are now okay.
The arrested driver is still in a trauma center suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, police were previously called into a crash on Delhi Road. Mississauga's Ninth Line is around 10:30 pm.
Cannon said a 20-year-old passenger in a car died on the scene and the 20-year-old driver of the car was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Another car driver (male in his 40s) was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
