DINNER AND A SHOW: Violent brawl doesn’t interrupt U.K. man’s meal

Nothing could deter Chris Hill from enjoying his kebab meal.

Not even a Pier 6 brawl.

The British man stood out in a now-viral video which showed him calmly enjoying his food at Ken’s Kebabs in Portsmouth, England last Friday when a violent fight started in front of his eyes.

Hill told the Daily Mail that hat he was eating his kebab and fries when he “turned to see a man and shop worker throwing things at each other and then this tall guy kicked the food counter.”

The quarrel erupted between a customer and a restaurant employee. In the video — posted on Twitter by Beth Deakin — an employee can be seen throwing what appears to be a pair of tongs at the customer as another person joins in.

Employees then move from behind the counter to physically confront the customers with punches and kicks thrown.

One of the employees then puts the raging customer in a headlock and tries to push him towards the front door of Ken’s Kebabs.

Another man joins in on the fun and lands a few cheap shots at the restrained customer.

All the while Hill just kept eating his food while having a front-row seat to the action. The man stayed calm by listening to the radio via his headphones.

The video has been viewed more than 20 million times on Twitter.

In a subsequent video, the two customers were eventually pushed outside the restaurant. After what appears to be a quick chat between an employee, the customers seemingly calm down.

“I thought about moving at one point but I was enjoying my kebab and chips … although the chips weren’t very nice,” Hill said of the incident.

According to the Daily Mail, police weren’t called to the incident.
