Divers rescue people from the South Saskathuwan River: Saskatoon Fire Department

A diver from the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) pulled a person off the South Saskatchewan River on Saturday night.

At 8:43 pm, according to anews release, SFD was asked by Saskatoon police to look for a potential person in the river.

An SFD boat was dispatched to the river with the captain. They used a handheld sonar device to identify the object and found two objects of interest at 9:22 pm.
