Drugs, weapons and stolen goods seized during Saskatoon police training

On Thursday morning, a Saskatoon constable and a police dog after hearinggunshotshelped make an arrest after a training exercise.

Police said that in the 300th block of Ottawa Avenue North, he responded to a call after a constable witnessed two suspects fleeing the area on bicycles.They pursued them on foot while giving instructions to the police.

Officers apprehended and arrested the suspect, finding several stolen items, various knives, drug trafficking paraphernalia, various ammunition, a small amount of unidentified pills, and approximately 28 grams of methamphetamine.

They were tracked down but later found in a nearby garden by police.
