
Police are investigating a double-homicide in Bowmanville.
Durham Regional Police responded to a residential home on Crombie St. on Saturday around 2:15 p.m. after receiving a call to check on the wellbeing of the occupants of the home.

Upon arrival, police found two deceased adults suffering from “obvious signs of trauma.”
The forensics unit was brought in to assist with the ongoing investigation.
The coroner has attended and ordered an autopsy.

The homicide unit has taken over the investigation and anyone with information or video footage, including dashcam or home surveillance is asked to contact police.
The two deceased are the third and fourth homicide victims in Durham Region this year.
