The federal and state governments have invested $ 37 million to payequityto early childhood workers in Manitoba.
This money is for the non-profit childcare committee to generate competitive wages for the early childhood workforce.

The state is also adequately compensated for school-age childcare staff.
“Early childhood educators are at the heart of the early learning and childcare system across Canada,” said Karina Gould, Federal Minister of Family, Children and Social Development.
