Escort client being drugged and robbed, Sally RCMP warns

Police in Surrey, British Columbia issued a warning after several people who used escort services reported being drugged and robbed .

The Surrey RCMP alleged that the victims hired escorts and arranged to meet them at various locations in the area, but later woke up to find their valuables had been stolen.

Police say they are concerned about the health risks of victims being drugged with an unknown substance.

People who have taken the drug are advised to seek medical attention immediately.

The Mounties believe that meeting strangers behind closed doors can be dangerous. and issued a list of safety tips, including:

  • Maintain continuity in all food and drink you consume and ensure they are not spiked. Please confirm that.
  • Do not consume anything provided by others.
  • Do not use drugs or alcohol that may impair your ability to keep yourself safe.
  • Let someone you trust know where you are so they can call the police if you don't check in by the appointed time.

Police added that they believe there may be other victims who are reluctant to call the police, but that anyone who may have taken drugs should be referred to the local police.
