LONDON (AP) — Former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs is set to go on trial on Monday for assault and use of coercive behavior against his ex-girlfriend.
Giggs, 48, is accused of assaulting and physically harming 36-year-old Kate Greville at her home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, on November 1, 2020. , Emma Greville during the same incident.
Giggs has also been charged with using controlling and intimidating behavior towards his ex-girlfriend from August 2017 until he was in November 2020. His trial in Manchester is expected to last up to 10 days.
