Facial recognition technology has revealed that the Polish woman who claims to be British toddler Madeline McCann is probably not the missing girl who was snatched from her parents’ holiday villa in 2007.

Julia Faustyna, 21, did not match photos of Maddie in a facial recognition comparison of the two.

According to the Swiss tabloid Blick, AI company Ava-X ran photos of Faustyna and Maddie through its Iris facial recognition software.

“It’s practically impossible for the young Pole to be Maddie,” Ava-X’s co-founder Christian Fehrlin said.

Fehrlin said that while photos from Faustyna’s childhood and more recent snapshots matched, a comparison between the Pole and Maddie did not come close. Earlier, Faustyna used photos of herself and Maddie noting that both had a brown smudge on their right iris.

“That scored a hit,” Fehrlin told Blick. “However, when we did the same with Maddie’s picture, no match could be found.”

According to the newspaper, Ava-X’s technology splits a person’s image into different parts and then compares the parts to images in other databases.

Faustyna had claimed on social media that her grandmother told her she was the missing Maddie several months ago.

Not only that, she also claims she is suspicious of her parents, saying she had never seen a photo of her mother pregnant with her.

“I have similar eyes, shape of face, ears, lips, I had the gap between the teeth [as Madeleine],” she wrote in one Instagram post, with side-by-side photos of herself and Maddie.

Authorities have long believed that Maddie is dead and probably murdered by a pedophile lurking near the Portuguese resort where her family was holidaying.

Faustyna added she had few memories from childhood.

Maddie’s parents, Gerry and Kate McCann, have agreed to take a DNA test to determine if they are related.

German detectives believe that a convicted child sex predator named Christian Brueckner is the man who kidnapped and murdered Maddie. He is currently caged for the rape of an elderly American woman.

Brueckner is also being eyed in a slew of child disappearances around Europe. He has claimed he is innocent.
