Quebec's forensics lab is asking for DNA samples from family members of the missing to help with identification.
Six people are still missing after a fire tore through a historic building in Old Montreal on Thursday.
Police and firefighters are going to start doing a manual and meticulous search through the rubble today, Montreal police Inspector David Shane said Tuesday morning. Certain parts of the building have been identified as potentially the areas where victims could be found, he said.

“We want to find every missing person and find the cause and circumstances of this fire,” Shane said.
A spokesperson for Quebec’s forensics lab said they are asking for DNA samples from family members of the missing to help with identification.
Nine people were injured in the fire, which destroyed the three-storey building at Place d’Youville and Port Sts.
