Five people were taken to a hospital trauma centre in serious, but stable condition following a multi-vehicle collision near the Central Experimental Farm on Thursday evening.
A spokesperson for the Ottawa Paramedic Service said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

The collision happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Fisher and Shillington avenues, just outside the western boundary of the Experimental Farm.
Ottawa Fire Services posted online that one of the vehicles involved in the collision “rolled several times and landed on its side” and that multiple occupants had been trapped inside.
