Man, 34, in critical condition after overnight shooting in Pembroke

A 34-year-old Pembroke man was raced to an Ottawa hospital in critical condition early Friday as OPP probe a shooting they believe happened at a home on Arnolds Lane in the Ottawa Valley community.

The man turned up with a gunshot wound at the emergency room of the Pembroke Regional Hospital at about 1:45 a.m.

“Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the nature of the shooting,” the force said in a release.
