Saint Alexandre — The driver died in a collision in Montreal Gazette on Friday evening.
A man in his thirties is driving north on Route 227 in Saint-Alexandre, a municipality near Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, in his car. I lost control.
According to the first report from Sûreté du Québec, the driver left the lane and headed south, where he collided with another vehicle.
"He lost control after making a mistake and before colliding with another vehicle bound south," SQ spokesman Sgt said. Stephen Tranbray said.

The driver of the first car was confirmed dead in the hospital. Police said he was "seriously injured."
