A 27-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a shooting in north Montreal late Friday night.
A spokesperson for the Montreal Police said the victim had suffered superficial injuries and did not need to be taken to hospital. was unknown.
At approximately 11:25 pm, police responded to reports that a shot had been fired near the intersection of rue Lapierre and rue Maurice He Duplessis.
When police arrived, they learned that shots had been fired at a group of people and nearby vehicles had been damaged. They also found used shell casings in the area, the spokesperson said.
