May 31st recap: It was a clean sweep on Wednesday as Mookie Betts homered in his first at-bat, Mitch Keller struck out seven and Alek Manoah walked three batters in his four innings of work.

It has been a great start to the week as we sit at +11.2 units. Let’s try to continue that today with three more prop bets.

*Odds as of 11am ET*

Kevin Gausman OVER 7.5 Strikeouts +105, bet365 (Wager: 1 unit to win 1.05 units)

The Blue Jays ace will take to the hill Thursday afternoon looking to add to another Cy Young-calibre start.

Gausman sits fourth in strikeout rate in the Major Leagues at 31.9% and has struck out eight or more in three of his past four games.

The Brewers have struck out 24.2% of the time against righty pitchers which is eighth-worst in MLB.

If you’re into home/road splits, Gausman has been even better at Rogers Centre, putting up a 33.6% strikeout rate compared to 30.7% away from home.

As always, the leash on Gausman is long and he should be able to pitch long enough to hit the over on this prop.

Ryan McMahon OVER 1.5 Total Bases +140, bet365 (Wager: 1 unit to win 1.4 units)

The Rockies infielder has been known for hitting right-handed pitching but is far from elite with a 95 wRC+ in his career against that handedness.

However, this is all about the matchup against Diamondbacks starter Zach Davies.

The journeyman right-hander has a 5.68 ERA this season and is striking out just 17.2% of batters.

In his 5.1 innings pitched against lefty batters, Davies has allowed a .542 SLG% and struck out just 10.7% of that handedness.

That should benefit McMahon, who strikes out almost 30% of the time versus righty pitchers.

There’s a lot of pop in McMahon’s bat and it should show up today against Davies.

Tanner Bibee OVER 5.5 Strikeouts -126, FanDuel (Wager: 1.26 units to win 1 unit)

The Guardians starter gets one of the best matchups in baseball right now as the Minnesota Twins have struck out 28% of the time against right-handed pitchers, which leads the league.

Bibee had a high strikeout rate in the minors and that has carried over into his debut season in the Major Leagues as he’s fanned 25% of batters in 34.1 innings.

The 24-year-old has gone over this number in just three of his six starts, but this matchup versus Minnesota is just too good to pass up.
