Montreal weather: Wet and muggy

The remnants of Tropical Storm Fay will affect us with showers and the risk of a thunderstorm.

About 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected to fall with an additional 5 mm overnight.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 26 with the humidex at a stuffy 37.

The weather service has also issued a special weather statement on expected heavy rain.

Tonight: Showers with a risk of a thunderstorm early in the evening and a low of 20.

Quote of the day

Reconciliation — it’s not a destination, it’s a lifestyle. It’s a way. We’re trying to build something that never existed ever anywhere on this planet. It’s scary. But it’s also an amazing opportunity. — Waneek Horn-Miller
