Nottawasaga OPP Investigating After 4 Vehicles Reported Stolen

Police are seeking witnesses and surveillance footage following reports of several vehicle thefts in theNottawasagaarea over the weekend.

Ontario Police said police received a report of a vehicle theft in Lyle around 7 a.m. Saturday.

Police say a 2011 Ford F150 was stolen from Main Street.

An hour later, police received a report of the theft of his 2014 Hyundai Elantra.

Police say the vehicle was stolen on Calford Street in Angus.

The vehicle was later recovered, according to officers.

Police said the incident occurred on New Tecumses' Weaver Trail.

Two hours later at 10:45 am, police announced another Ford F150 had been reported missing in the New He Turner Drive neighborhood of Tecumseth.

All four thefts occurred at night during an "unspecified time period," according to police.

"Police are urging residents of the above areas to check their video surveillance cameras," the officer said in a news release. "We may have important information to help solve these thefts."
