OC Transpo driver tests positive for COVID-19

An OC Transpo bus driver is in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.

The driver, whose infection was confirmed Sunday, last worked on Tuesday, July 28, transit boss John Manconi said in a memo issued to the mayor and members of council on Monday.

OC Transpo is working with Ottawa Public Health to trace the driver’s contact with family, friends and co-workers. The company is also identifying vehicles and facilities that require additional cleaning.

Manconi also released a list of routes, times and locations where the individual was on July, 26, 27 and 28.
