TORONTO — One person has died and another is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following an early morning shooting in Toronto.
Toronto Police said they responded to reports of shootings near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue around 3:30 am on Tuesday.
Two victims were found at the scene with gunshot wounds, one of whom he had no vital signs.
A police officer began his CPR on the man without vital signs before declaring him dead at the scene.
A second victim was taken to a trauma center in critical but stable condition, according to Toronto paramedics.
No information about the suspect has been released and the area is closed for investigation.
