With Ramon Urias hitting a three-run homer and right-hander Jordan Lyles pitching 5 2/3 innings, the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-4, on Monday night.

Anthony Santander, Ryan Mountcastle and Austin Hayes added his solo home runs in the Orioles' three-game series opener.

Blue Jays Cavan Biggio and Matt Chapman each hit solo homers.

Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit in his fifth inning, extending his hitting streak to his 19th game.

Lyles (9-8) allowed 2 runs, 8 hits, 2 walks and 1 strikeout in 5 2/3 innings.

Toronto lefty Yusei Kikuchi (4-6) allowed his five runs, six hits and three walks, and he stole four over five innings.

Adley Rutschman and Santander take the lead with one out. A Mountcastle grounder pushed Santander to second base, and Urias hit his 12th home run of the season.

Biggio leads his third with his three homers of the season.

Santander hit 20 homers this season, a career-high with two outs in the bottom of the third, while Mountcastle hit his 15th home run of the season, putting the Orioles ahead of him 5–1.

Chapman hit his 22nd home run of the season and in the sixth inning he had one out.

Sionel Perez replaced Lyles after Danny Jansen walked with his two outs and struck out Biggio.

Trent Thornton replaced Kikuchi after his walk in the leadoff to Mountcastle in the bottom of the sixth. After Urias grounded on a double play, Hayes hit his 13th home run of the season.

Dillon Tate recorded a perfect top in the seventh with his two strikeouts, and in the eighth inning Bohe allowed one-outs to Bichette and Chapman on his singles, instead Joe Crete. Biel attended. Lymel Tapia hit an RBI hit and Jansen hit the sacrifice fly. After Biggio walked, Felix Bautista replaced Krebier to end the inning.

Trevor Richards walks his Rutschman to open the bottom of his eighth inning. Santander singled and Mountcastle added an RBI single.

Bautista overcame an error and a single to start his ninth with a strikeout and a double play ground ball to earn his fifth save.

Baltimore recalled right-handed Lewis his head from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday and sent right-handed Beau his salser as an option to Norfolk.
