RAMALLAH — Palestinian officials handed over the bullets that killed prominent Palestinian-American al-Jazy rajournalist Shireen Abu Akleh to US officials for forensic examination, Palestinian officials said Saturday.
Abu Acre was killed on May 11 while reporting an Israeli attack on the occupied West Bank of the Palestinian city of Genin.
As a result of the investigation, Palestinian officials said she was shot by an Israeli soldier in a "intentional murder."
