RAMALLAH — Palestinian officials handed over the bullets that killed prominent Palestinian-American al-Jazy rajournalist Shireen Abu Akleh to US officials for forensic examination, Palestinian officials said Saturday.

Abu Acre was killed on May 11 while reporting an Israeli attack on the occupied West Bank of the Palestinian city of Genin.

As a result of the investigation, Palestinian officials said she was shot by an Israeli soldier in a "intentional murder."

Israel has denied the charges and states that it is continuing its own investigation. But without looking at the bullets to see if it matches the Israeli military gun, determine if she was accidentally shot by an Israeli soldier or Palestinian militant during the fire exchange. Say you can't.

"We have agreed to transfer the bullets to Americans for investigation," said Akram al-Khatib, Palestinian Attorney General, without providing details. Told to. (Report by Ali Sawafta, Written by Mayan Lubell, Edited by Kevin Liffey)
