Papa John's seems to have made a mistake with his new menu selection .
The pizza chain has added his bowl of pizza to the menu. The pie has the expected pizza toppings, but everything comes in a plastic bowl with no crust. Not so for the house.
He comes in three flavors: Garden Veggie, Chicken Alfredo, and Italian Meats Trio, each priced at $7.99 (US). They launch on his August 22nd, but members of the Papa John's loyalty program can get an early taste on his August 15th. So they are trying something different.
Scott Rodriguez, senior vice president of menu strategy and innovation at Papa Johns, told CNN: Had for the past few years.

The company wants to increase sales by offering more options to the group of people who don't want to eat pizza.
However, much of the reaction to the pizza bowl on social media was negative. Some called the product "wet trash," while others called it "garbage."
Someone else said: "If Papa John's thought pizza was bad enough, we slid everything off the crust into a bowl."
