Police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was found in North Edmonton on Tuesday.
At about 2:00 p.m., police called him in for a welfare check of an apartment complex located at 8215 – 144 Ave.
Officers found a dead body in the building and his death is considered suspicious, Edmonton Police said in a news release Wednesday afternoon.

EPS said an autopsy was conducted on Wednesday, but the man's cause of death is pending additional testing.
The man's identity has not been released at this time, according to police.
