Police are investigating after a person was found with injuries on the Long Sault Bridge in Hawkesbury early Friday then died of their injuries in hospital.
Parts of the bridge and the area around it will be closed during their probe, the Hawkesbury detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police said in a release.

OPP officers, Prescott-Russell paramedics and Hawkesbury firefighters responded to the discovery of the injured person near Chenail Boulevard at about 5 a.m., police said.
The person, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead in hospital.
OPP technical collision investigators and a crash reconstructions are helping with the investigation, police said.
