Police seek man, 67, missing since Friday

Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating Edward Lavergne, 57, missing since Friday.

In a release, police said Lavergne was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. on Edison Avenue in the Westboro-Highland Park area.

He was wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. There are concerns for his wellbeing, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the central district staff sergeant at 613-236-1222, ext. 5212 and refer to case number 2022-255154.
